[ Eventually - quite some time after his arrival, leaving the hospital, and finding his free apartment - Severus manages to turn on the device. He's removed his bazillion yards long robe and draped it over the foot of the bed in his new apartment, much like an odd, black throw blanket. So he appears to be overly dapper, or just old fashioned as ( Read more... )

I've heard that, as of next week, we're going to have newsletters with business listings. If you're lucky, maybe something that peaks your interest will be on it.

Oh? How convenient. Though as I wish to walk the city already I may come across something before then. But the thought is appreciated. Thank you, Miss.

It's nice to meet you, Severus. I'd offer you luck on adjusting here, but you're already quite calm.

[ Check out the smirk on this one. ] I merely see no reason to waste my energy on something so useless. You are spared frantic, disjointed babble and I retain what happened to not be taken from me.

I'm sure the current residents are glad to have someone that differs from the usual reactions.

That does not surprise me much at all. What researcher would willingly let something that could destroy their entire project on its own anywhere near it?

The machine is not without its flaws?

Exactly. That's actually how we know it doesn't always work correctly. She can try to convince us that it's apart of her plan, but things started getting out of hand after a major blackout that occurred when she was temporarily not in charge. It seems like the machine was damaged then. Who's to say it's even fixed now?

Apart from the obvious removal of what was mine I must say from this standpoint the machine functions. I did not gain or lose limbs. [ Ha. So funny. ]

Who was in charge at that time?

That's good, at least!

Let's see..I don't think anyone was. It was right after GlaDOS was taken down.
