[It had been over a week since her arrival and, despite how she had worried, she settled in easily enough. Searching for work is difficult when you're not used to doing anything but the job you already had but Colette at least knows she can waitress if nothing else. Of course, she won't settle for just that. She wants to be able to make a difference, and staying in a diner or cafe all day wouldn't get much done.

Good morning, Aliunde. I wondered, perhaps, if anyone might be able to explain the... creatures outside? Or the issue with the lights? Or, well, any of the strange things happening? I assumed it was something to do with the Head Doctor but I can't see the point in it all.
[She laughs faintly. This place is very strange and although it seems like nothing horrendous is happening, she's not sure what to make of a lot of it. Of course, today is a special day and she gets her mind back on track.]
Oh! Professor Xavier! I wondered, if you have the time today, would you like to have lunch with me? [Her smile changes to a little more devious grin and she tilts her chin up just slightly.] I have a gift for you, and I won't take no for an answer.
[She ends it there, still smiling.]
