[After taking on the mission of finding the original Star Wars trilogy, Darcy then contacted the Odinsons and they'd decided on a date for movie night. Date in place, Darcy went shopping for the ingredients needed for movie snacks. She got the stuff for cupcakes-- four different kinds. She got popcorn. Butter lovers, plain, and kettle corn (a personal favorite). Darcy and Loki had volunteered Thor to bring the salty snacks, so those were taken care of. And Loki was in charge of chocolates. On an afterthought, Darcy decided it was best to have a variety of drinks. Most of them non-alcoholic. She can't have them getting drunk during the movie and losing interest. It just could not be allowed to happen.
The day of the movie night, Darcy spent baking. And a lot of it. Chocolate, vanilla, red velvet, and cinnamon sugar cupcakes. She then decided to decorate them. The vanilla ones were decorated to look like mini Death Stars. The chocolate had horribly drawn Millenium Falcons. And the red velvet and cinnamon sugar each had cream cheese frosting and alternating red and blue lightsabers. Her fingertips were a myriad of colors from the different food colorings she'd used, but all in all, she was proud of her dorky little cupcakes. Darcy was thankful movie night was going to be at her place, because she would have probably ended up falling and dropping everything on the walk to the mansion.
As the time grows closer to the Odinsons' arrival, Darcy does some last minute cleaning up. Making sure no embarrassing articles of clothing or items are laying out anywhere. Bathroom's clean. Kitchen's clean. She didn't dress up, preferring to just stick to some warm winter pajamas and fuzzy bunny slippers. Darcy stands in the middle of her living room, arms out as she looks around, doing oooone last check.]
