[Bright blue eyes are looking at the screen and turning the cell phone this way and that. Those eyes blink and then the cell phone pulls away. Those eyes are completely unaware their actions are being recorded. As the phone pulls away, a very young face looks at the cell phone a little longer.]
Goodness! What a most peculiar sort of box! I’ve not seen something like this before. I wonder what it is and why he handed it to me! Or perhaps the question to ask is what it does. I don’t think it would mind if I asked both questions though, but you can never tell sometimes! Hmm...
[She looks around and frowns slightly and bites her lip as she peers out the window and back out the door.]
This isn’t England most certainly..... And I didn’t see any rabbits...
Well Alice! [The screen shifts and focuses on her dress as her hands wipe away imaginary wrinkles and she's still holding the phone.] What shall you do! You shan’t get nary a thing done just standing here... Unless I’m supposed to stand here I suppose. But then if I’m supposed to stand here it isn’t very kind of whomever or whatever wants me to stand here to not have left some sort of sign or some-such telling me they would like me to stay... Or maybe they have.... No, no I most certainly think not. That doctor didn't say a thing besides a welcome... and not a very welcoming welcome at that! And whatever is an Aliunde!
No, I suppose there’s nothing to do except... Well... Find out where I am first... or no... Is Aliunde where I am? I suppose I shall have to ask someone... and how to leave second. I hope whomever brought me here won’t think me rude.... But it wasn’t very kind of it or them to not explain things either.
[Finally the cell-phone screen once more focuses on Alice’s face.]
And I must postivitely find out exactically what this curious device is! Hmm... I think I shall re-number things! Yes, numbering things, or making a list as it were, is a perfectly, wonderfully organized thing to do, even when you don’t really know what you should do first! One: I shall find out where I am. Two: I shall find out what this device is, and then three I shall discover a way to leave! Dinah shall miss me terribly I think if I stay here much longer. And I wouldn’t want Time to think me murdering him, though I wonder if he’s here....
Oh if only I could find a garden this would be easier!

And you should know how it's pronounced because I just pronounced it as it should be pronunciated! Oh dear... I don't think that's word... ah! But I have to continue my introduction lest I seem rude! There! Now that introductions are done we can get to finding out where we are!
