He'd snuck down before. He'd had to. Mostly for food, mostly because being in his room all the time was driving him mad. He felt... like some sort of weird prisoner, not wanting to be seen. He wasn't, he knew no one was keeping him locked anywhere. It was just easier, not to speak to anyone. He didn't really have anything to say, anyway.
According to JJ, there was no-one on the landing, or in the kitchen. And that meant Teddy was going down. Grab some water, some snacks and whatever fruit was in easy reach and then he was going back up before anyone noticed him. Like Pepper. He didn't want Pepper seeing him, seeing red, and kicking him out. He couldn't really live with that.
So that was where he was, in the kitchen, making a cheese sandwich. He'd had cravings. He needed a cheese sandwich]
