[ Someone looks unhappy, although those that know her will know it's not that rare of a look for her. She's glaring pretty hard at the screen, one hand on her hip, the other holding up the phone to begin with. Her brand's been taken (something she's not terribly upset about, mind), and they took her gunblade, too, the actual reason she's so pissed

[Cloud recalls Lightning from her last time here, and Tifa spoke about her being in the Void, but he doesn't remember the Twelfth Cycle, so all he can do if offer her a nod in greeting.] They'll give you your gunblade in two months. [A pause.] Need an explanation?

[fulminous]

[ Okay that? Is just weird. Lightning blinks once, hesitating before answering -- she's probably just seeing things, but this guy looks... ] Too long. I need it back now. But I guess information will do, for now.

[loveandstrife]

You can't have it back now. I've got a couple spare swords if you want one. [He shrugs a bit. Everyone has to wait, unless all hell breaks loose again.] You're in Aliunde. It's a social experiment. All you need to do is survive, and you can try to find a way out, like everyone else.

[fulminous]

Easy enough. It's not like I haven't done that before. [ She pauses, and tilts her head to the side. ] What kind of swords?

[loveandstrife]

Yeah, we're all pretty used to that. [He shrugs.] The sharp kind. [Excuse him his rare joke. There won't be many.] I got a few different kinds. Come take a look when you're free. [He sends the address of 7th Heaven to her.] Lightning, right? I'm Cloud.

[fulminous]

[ The joke actually gets a small smile from her, and she nods. ] So you're Cloud. Tifa mentioned you. I'll be by soon.

[loveandstrife]

She did? [He shakes off that little bit of a smug feeling he gets and nods to her.] Alright. See you soon. [Also, your face is weird, lady.]

[fulminous]

[ No, your face is weird, Cloud. ] She said you were her friend and that I reminded her of you.

[Had my face first, Claire.] Huh... I guess... I kind of see it.

[fulminous]

[ I wear it better, Cloudette. ] You do?

[loveandstrife]

[That's Miss Cloud to you.] You don't? [Come on, it's like looking in the weirdest mirror.]

[fulminous]

[ She pauses for a moment, and then smirks a bit as she studies his face. ] Maybe I do.

[loveandstrife]

[Cloud's smirk flicks into place for a second.] Come by later and I'll have a few swords you can pick from. If you need a hand with anything, call.

[fulminous]

I will. [ She nods once, and smiles slightly, before hanging up. ]
