This whole 'living off campus' thing might actually happen. Today Jess and I went with Annie and her parents all over Bellingham to look at different houses up for sale. The whole situation is that the Gianunzios would buy a house and then we'd all fix it up and the three of us would pay rent. I'm pretty thrilled about it if it all works out. The house we looked at seriously was really close to school as well, like, seriously, 3 minutes thereabouts. It's close to the corner of Iron St and Fraser St. If that means anything to any of you. Regardless, it was an adorable house. Built in 1905, it has all the quaint appeals of an old home: the little closet-nooks that curve around walls and little stairs and little railings. Oh golly. It's so wonderful. It also has a little studio/art house thing that's seperate from the house. It has it's own kitchen and loft and such, and when we walked in to look around it, the overwhelming smell of old, lived in, and loved enveloped us. Ahh. It smelled like the basement of my grandparents' old house...otherwise known as, beautiful. So that was wonderful.
Granted, this might not all fall into place as cleanly as we'd like it to, I really hope it does. I talked to my dad about it today, it was interesting. I couldn't really tell what his opinion was on the matter, but it didn't sound negative. So of course, he's thinking about it. I could tell his little gears were turning at full rate when I mentioned moving off campus, and paying rent, etc. Ohhh the beginnings of change.
Only two classes tomorrow. I thought it was still three, but I remembered we don't have to go to History because we went today for the presentation set-ups. And tomorrow, he's talking about the final papers, which we're not doing. Presentations...eek. We'll see how that all pans out, I suppose.
Shpadoinkle.
I have a hankering for Cannibal.
And tomorrow is going to be relatively boring. Jess leaves on the Greyhound to go home at like 1:30, so after that, I'll be on my own.
I should find something to do.
'should' = key word
