(no subject)
I recently joined a furry forum, and I've made a lot of new friends and love the place already dispite my brief membership. Fun and friendly environment, with a lot of cool people (like Gir :3 great person, friendly, helpful yay!) and I just simply love it.
I'm sad I won't be able to make it to mff this weekend in Chicago, even though it's only a 3-3 1/2 hour drive... no monies ;-;, no room, no ride. But I'll DEFINATELY be going to the fur con in Ann Arbor :3 *squeels*
Aside from that, uhm...I've had a few commissions, well, three really. Got altogether $85, though the only cash was 25, and then the rest went to a 60$ Wacom Graphire 4 tablet on ebay. Yay for my tablet-y-ness. <3 Valen is commissioning me again soon, and I'll be doing a trade for a beautiful tail. I'm excited about that one especially.

On another note, we've finally got a figure for mums settlement, $55,000. I'm glad she had a good lawyer, and a good Judge. The insurance company's lawyer made a fool out of himself with his "of course her left hand is going to be weaker than her right" and rolling his eyes at the judge. My moms strength in her left hand is around 100lbs, her left? 10-15lbs, drastic difference, and much lower than the average for the secondary hand. I'm glad, she was worried that she'd only get a couple grand, she needs to keep getting therapy for her hand, and hasn't since April because the insurance company for the coney (where she messed up her hand) wasn't going to pay for it anymore because she was "fit for returning to work." I don't know how many of you might have ever been waitresses or waiters at any point, but you need both hands in working condition to carry several plates of food, drinks, ect. and her hand cant even properly move!
