Blarghhh.
A couple things:
1.) I have come down with some kind of flu type "thing" and feel overall shitty. It's even worse to get any kind of sickness in the summer and especially when the forecast is calling for it to be hazy, humid, and just overall hot the next week or so. Awesome.
2.) I hate heat in general, so this flu plus the heat is making me extremely pissy and I'm just blahhhh. Also work is getting busier and it is the last place on earth I want to be at this point. The AC there is the only plus at this point. Oh yeah, and the money I make being there. That's it though. ha.
3.) The Buffalo Sabres are doing screwy things like putting Tim Kennedy on waivers just after arbitration, and making everyone overall confused, and some of us pretty damn angry. The Sabres management is a bunch of boneheads most of the time, I swear. Just let him play here, geez. We also signed some guy from the Capitals in the 15 mins. or so after this happened, so I don't know what the hell to think now. We find out sometime tomorrow if Timmy stays or goes. I hope he stays. He's also from Buffalo, which is pretty cool. Hometown boys are pretty awesome on your hometown team.
4.) I'm glad it's August which means that summer is more than half over! Woooo! I am counting down the days to pre-season hockey, that's how bad it is. It's been just a little bit more than 3 months since I've seen a Sabres game, and that's wayyyy past due. The Blackhawks were enough to tie me over after that, but even that was June. Come on now end of September, I need ya!
