(no subject)
Tonight was fun, we went out to eat with Alleen for Aaron's bday, we went to Fillippi's. It was pretty good, but not for the 40 minute wait. I'm glad we went though. Alleen is going to come & watch the game with us on Sunday, that will be fun, let's watch the Steelers get crushed! or at least, kicked... we have to beat them so that the loud ass mouth steeler fans can be put in their places!
We were going to see The Unborn tonight since my mom is babysitting Tristan and we have a giftcard from Sheena, but when we got to the theatre, it was sold out, even though it was like 10:30! BAH! So then we didn't really feel like a movie, instead we got some coffee, went home and got ready to go to 24 hour fitness for the first time. I liked it, it's not as flashy as LA Fitness, which I like, there's better classes and equipment, plus it's always open :) Especially now that we've set a date, I am determined to lose my weight... so far, so good!
Speaking of, if I haven't said it enough already, haha, WE SET A DATE! September 26, 2009, we are getting married :) I got the date I wanted, & there wasn't even that much arm twisting involved. It didn't hurt that it's convenient enough for our honeymoon to be a trip to Germany for Oktoberfest :P I'm excited. My mom & I went to David's Bridal today & I saw the bridesmaid dresses I want (I'd seen them before online, I am still looking but so far they stick out) & I am pretty set on the colors I want, but Aaron wasn't sold on them :( He said he wants "light, beachy colors" ... wtf? We've already decided to get married on the beach, which I don't necessarily want to do in the sand but since he wants to I am okay with it, but the last thing I want is some tacky beach wedding, with the beach theme and such. The reason I wanted to get married in the "fall" was for the fall colors... burnt oranges, deep reds lined with shimmering silver & golds... so pretty. Oh well, silver isn't hard to convince him of, but maybe I can at least keep my persimmon :) I've grown very attatched to it.
I already know who I want my bridesmaids to be, I just have to ask the rest of them, haha... I wish Aaron would tell me who he has in mind for Groomsmen... all I really know is Geoff... silly boy. He was worried 9 months wouldn't be enough time to plan a wedding, but now he's saying we've got all the time in the world to discuss it, haha.
I get to go to the bridal bazaar on the 16th as well, I'm excited :)
Plus, I finally get my massage from Christmas tomorrow morning... mmmmm, off to dream about it & watch Ghost Town!
