Bevlyn's Thoughts: My Only Wish
This wedding blew me away.
First of all, it fell on Christmas Day, and just when I was lamenting that I could not feel that Christmas has arrived, I saw Santa Claus. Right at the wedding.
This Santa is also the co-emcee for Angeline and Jinhang's wedding. Santa Claus' schedule is really mysterious! What was funny was, a personnel from Pan Pacific Hotel announced at the start of the banquet that the emcees were running late, and proceeded to play the photo montage for everybody's enjoyment first. Then he announced for the entrance of the 'couple', who turned out to be Santa and his co-emcee.
Anyway, the other thing which took my breath away was this candy stand. I felt like a child enjoying the magical spirits of Christmas all over again:

The couple had arranged for guests to pack the sweets into these cute pouches. How considerate! :)
Another amusing moment for the guests was when the band performed the Hokkien classic 一支小雨伞 for the march-in of the wedding entourage during the second march-in, and when they all took their positions, the band did a transition to I Will Follow Him to mark the entrance of Angeline and Jinhang. I could even hear some guests singing with me on “I will follow him”!
And if you thought that Santa is nice, this one is not. He played some games with Jinhang to make sure he's worthy of Angeline. Jinhang passed the tests, of course :)
But Santa is a kind soul afterall, while I was performing my last song “My Only Wish”, he wrote on a golden ribbon and passed it to me , “Yes I heard you”.

Thank you Angeline and Jinhang for making us and the guests experience the spirit of Christmas even when we attend your wedding celebrations. We enjoyed ourselves very much, and we would like to wish the two of you loads of joy, bliss and happiness for your marriage. Congratulations!
