Bevlyn's Thoughts: 可以愛你真好 (It's So Good To Love You)
It was great to come back to this beautiful high-ceiling banquet hall again. The picture below tells why:
And check out this 4-tier real wedding cake. It's chocolate green-tea flavour!
I would say that Mavis and Kai's guests were spoiled for choices when it comes to entertainment at the banquet! Before our performance, Mavis scheduled for a string quartet Striiings to welcome the guests with classical and contemporary pieces. It is an interesting configuration because instead of having 4 musicians who play strings, Striiings featured 3 string instrumentalists and 1 pianist.
From their light and refreshing music, we took over the baton and continued with a series of English and Mandarin pop songs. I was pleasantly surprised when Mavis requested for <<可以愛你真好>> because it has been some time, and I'm glad people still remember this sweet song!
One interesting song choice was Destin by Celine Dion. It's not exactly a wedding song, but nevertheless an uplifting number to create a different ambience :)
And after our set was a special guest performer by the name of Nick! It was kind of funny when he came to the backstage in the middle of our set to adjust his repertoire - mainly because we had performed some of the songs he had intended to perform! However other than that, he had nothing to worry about with his velvet voice which went along well with his guitar accompaniment.
And just to be a little funny, we took some photos at the waiting room while Striiings was performing, here's one of them hihi:

Sorry this took so long, but events overtook us and we've just got around to posting this, more than six months on! We had a fabulous if tiring time at our wedding, but your music kept us going and certainly kept us smiling!
All our guests loved your music, and Bevlyn, your golden voice left a *very* deep impression on more than a few of our friends!
You guys made our special day even more special, and we will remember you all for a long time to come.
