Matthew's thoughts: Dream A Little Dream

This has got to be one of the fastest-organized wedding gigs I've done. Wedding's on Saturday, I think I got the call on the Tuesday before.

Nonetheless, we rounded up the band - Melvin on bass and Imelda singing - and got straight to work. The solemnization was held at a top secret well hidden corner of Shangri-La, it's the poolside pavilion which doesn't really hold more than 10 tables we were told.

So you can see it was a highly cosy affair. The service was conducted just around sunset, and thankfully the weather held, so the party went on.

Once again I'm very happy when couples opt for the sunset service followed by dinner combo - this meant that dinner began around 7.15pm! The whole banquet was over around 9.30pm!

This just makes so much logistical sense doesn't it - no traffic jams at 9.30pm at the carpark, everyone including the couple gets to go to bed early! (if that's their intention)

God bless the groom - despite his crazy schedule still kept making sure the banquet staff got the band dinner! Also it's been a crazy week of fever and flu. We discovered that Imelda, Melvin, me and the groom just recovered from a bout of evil flu! Glad we got that out of the way. Let's stay healthy, team!
