Hsin Yeow's thoughts: 真的爱你 (I Really Love You)
Soo Tin and Boo Song were colleagues. As Soo Tin had joined the firm earlier, she was the one who showed Boo Song the ropes. In the course of doing so, love blossomed.
Even though the couple were solemnised 6 years ago, they were in no hurry to hold the wedding dinner reception. But when they did, Soo Tin felt there was one element she could not do without - live music. I was touched when she told me she insisted on engaging a live band because she wanted her guests to be entertained.
And that's what we did. Matthew and Selwyn were my able musicians, and together, we performed a mix of pop and classic love songs. My favourite of the evening was Beyond's 真的爱你 (I Really Love You). It's a moving tribute to one's mother, and its rousing melody made it a fitting close to an enjoyable night.
