Bevlyn's thoughts: We've Only Just Begun
This wedding is certainly made possible because of HSBC - Jamie and Peter's paths crossed when they worked in the same building albeit different departments. Though having seen each other from time to time along the common corridor, they only spoke to each other at the company's Christmas party in 2006. What started off as a casual conversation slowly developed into friendship and eventually, a steady love relationship. The deal was sealed when Peter proposed during one of their vacations, at the foot of Osaka Castle, Japan. Voila!
The wedding was certainly a feisty one, with the main ballroom filled to the brim with guests who were happily chatting amongst themselves. Though the band was only myself on vocals and Ian on the piano, we enjoyed ourselves tremendously , mainly because the guests were so appreciative!
What touched me the most was when Peter said in his thank you speech, "I marry Jamie not because I think I can live with her, but rather, I believe cannot live without her" :)
Our heartiest congratulations to Peter and Jamie, and here's wishing them a lifelong marriage filled with simple joys and happiness!
