Hsin Yeow's thoughts: I Live My Life For You
One of my favourite questions I ask grooms when I meet them on their wedding day is, "So, how was the gate-crashing this morning?"
Some grooms laugh it off by saying, "Oh it was all right! We got in pretty smoothly."
The faces of some grooms would change colour, as if remembering the "interesting" concoctions they were made to swallow.
Daryl's reaction was funny: he lifted his leg, pushed up his pant leg and showed me a rectangular bare patch of leg. It was baby pink, and looked quite sore.
My succinct response was "Ahh, thanks!" That was all I needed to know.
I got to view the video highlights of the gate-crashing later during the dinner celebration.
I remember Daryl was quizzed by the bridesmaids on his mother-in-law's favourite colour. Amazingly enough, he answered this correctly! Strangely enough, he was stumped when asked to recite Casey's IC number. Oh dear!
Another highlight of the wedding was a very entertaining speech from Casey's bridesmaid. I learnt that Daryl's quite a sportsman -- he climbed 72 storeys in 11 min! Casey's also a very conscientious friend, one who remembers all her close friends' birthdays and gives handmade chocolates as gifts.
Finally, I would like to wish Casey and Daryl the same three words said by the bridesmaid: may your marriage be filled with "passion, adventure and excitement"!
