Hsin Yeow's Thoughts: The Right Person
Here's why I believe Josephine and Kelvin are made for each other:
"Being together for 10 years was not easy. We had our disagreements at times. But we never abandoned each other. We will talk things through if we are unhappy with each other. Tolerance, forgiveness, open and honest communication are important factors which bring us closer. We often encourage each other, support each other all the way (though sometimes one of us knows the other party is wrong)."
Quite amazing for a couple who did not experience "love at first sight" when they met at a friend's party. Their second meeting was actually two years later, and they exchanged numbers that night.
Since then, the couple slowly but surely experienced the various relationship 'milestones': first date (the horror movie The Ring), buying a flat (after having dated for five years), getting the flat (another five long years), then proposal ("subtle but sweet").
Bevlyn, Fabian, Kenny and I had a great time at Josephine and Kelvin's wedding celebration. The couple selected many challenging songs, and I was impressed by Bevlyn's pitch-perfect rendition of 对的人 (The Right Person). Judging by the applause we received that night, the guests enjoyed our performance.
Congratulations, Josephine and Kelvin! It was our privilege to be a part of your wedding. Hope to see you again soon!
