Hui Bing's Thoughts: Love In The First Degree
If I can describe Kenneth & Joanne's wedding in three words, it will be Full, Fun and Fantastic. Full as we had a fuller band accompanying me and Jerome that night - Jixiang on guitar, Ivan on sax and Shawn on percussion. The music from this dynamic trio in black was as tight as a button, perfect for the disco and uptempo songs that the couple has selected. I didn't know that 'Love in the first degree' could sound so good using such a set-up!
Fun as it was one of the weddings which I would want to go. Located at the beautiful Villa Halia admist greenery and a clear lit sky, it was a balmy, lovely night as guests enjoyed a sumptuous buffet dinner under the stars.
And Joanne/Kenneth and the guests were absolutely fantastic. The guests were initially reserved but slowly warmed up to the night and live music after a few rounds of alcohol. By night end, the remaining guests were dancing to the live music and even asked for more. Jerome and I dug out all the lyrics of our upbeat and 'dancy' songs and we ended the evening on a high. In fact, the 5 of us had so much fun that we were still talking about this performance a day a week after the wedding!
