Hsin Yeow's thoughts: 有你真好 (It's So Good To Have You)
How often do you tell your parents you love them? Well, one way is to do it in front of all your family and close friends at your wedding.
Apart from expressing love for her husband Eddie, Kenix made sure to thank her parents. This was what she said:
“爸爸，妈妈，我真的觉得我好幸福，有你们在我的身边。
从小到大，无论我想要做什么，你们都会支持我，你们总是保容我的任性。
家是我最温暖的依靠。爸爸妈妈，谢谢你们。
(Dad and Mum, I feel I'm so fortunate to have you by my side. From when I was young, you would support me no matter what I wanted to do. You've always indulged my whims and fancies. Home is where I feel warm and cared for. Dad and mum, thank you.)

Another memorable message I read out on Kenix's behalf was to her classmates.
“In life, here are a lot of people whom we meet. Some come and go, others stay. Some leave memories in us for a very long time. Some of whom we strive together.
For the past 2 years, I am very fortunate to have a group of cohesive classmates whom we strive together. Part-time studies are never easy for working adults. But with you guys around, every lesson is an enjoyment.
Thank you all for giving me such a wonderful 2 years. It is an honour knowing you all. Special thanks to my project mates, Cheryl, Soon Leong and Kevin. Thanks for all the hard work together.
Thanks to Jeffrey for never failing to motivate us, though your best method is using “fear factor”, but it has proven to be effective somehow. Thanks to Prof Lau and Lily for organizing the last gathering at Lunar, it was really an unforgettable night. This song is for you all. If we hold on together…”
We simply loved how Kenix dedicated songs to her parents and friends. Her friends certainly appreciated the gesture and applauded loudly when their names were called out.
Congratulations Kenix and Eddie! Thank you so much for engaging us. May you both have a happy marriage, filled with laughter and happiness.
