Bevlyn's Thoughts: Firsts
This gig marked a couple of firsts: it was my first time singing at the
Pan Pacific Hotel. I also had a new male partner, Jun Xiong. I loved his smooth and clear vocals in a local DIY compilation album
Replugged, and it was a pleasant surprise to learn that he had a jovial personality to match. Junxiong was also the emcee for the evening, and I have to say he really did a great job - making everyone relaxed as if he was a family friend.
The sound system was however less than ideal. What made things worse was when the hotel lowered the sound volume; we had to strain our ears to hear our own voices.
The sound technician also took a very long time to set up our equipment - something we need to take note of when we
next sing at Pan Pac.
