Bevlyn's thoughts: Against All Odds
Ken loved the idea of having a live band perform at his wedding; unfortunately, everyone else thought it would be a waste of money.
Kudos to him for contacting us anyway. We could tell how excited he was, because he had already chosen a list of songs he wanted us to perform. He loved the song Dream A Little Dream so much, he actually found five different versions of the song and played them before our performance. And he still wanted me to sing the song live!
Ken was also the first person who made me sing my first Thai song; he loved 我爱你 (I Love You) by China Dolls so much, I couldn't bear to turn him down. So we sang it for his 2nd March-in. I'm happy to report that everyone enjoyed our performance. Glad we proved that Ken was right in engaging us to sing for his wedding!
P.S. The AV technician was also one of the friendliest we've ever encountered. Hope we can sing at Holiday Inn Parkview again soon.
