Hsin Yeow's thoughts: You Had Me From Hello
Singing at Frederick and Sarina's wedding must count as one of my wedding career highlights. Not only did we have a great response from the crowd, I got to meet three other couples who had engaged me for their weddings earlier.
It all started when Angela and Ferris engaged me to sing for their celebration at Goodwood Park. Frederick, Ferris' brother, had already thought about approaching me to sing for his wedding. By coincidence, Joanna and Mark found my contact and I sang for their wedding in January this year. Paul and Charissa heard me then, and swiftly booked me for their wedding which took place in September. Confused yet?

I felt immensely privileged to have performed at all four weddings, and it made me feel like I was part of this close-knit group of family and friends.
Love Story of Frederick and Sarina
"It all started at a private education centre where we were pursuing our chartered accountancy studies. I first saw her at the pantry, where everyone usually gathered during class breaks. She was a foreign student from Indonesia. Although she had caught my eye, I didn't get a chance to properly introduce myself due to our different class schedules. I never gave up, cos she was the prettiest girl in school then. I was a real sucker...
Things took off pretty slowly at first. She was such a major sceptic, that I
had to use my best salesmanship and presentation skills to cajole her into a starting a relationship with me. What made it even more difficult were the hordes of suitors she had!
To make amends for my no-frills proposal, which I must admit, was a real let-down in terms of romanticism, I intend to serenade her with a song on 5 Dec 08..."
What happened at the wedding
To serenade the lovely Sarina, Frederick chose the Bon Jovi classic You Had Me From Hello, which he assured me was the case when he first met her. I have to admit that I was slightly concerned at the rehearsal, because I was worried that Fred's nerves would get the better of him.
Nevertheless, the sight of a visibly moved and tearing Sarina must have bolstered Fred's courage, because he delivered a steady performance! Way to go Fred!

Anyway I really appreciate the brief moments spent rehearsing my special performance with you guys. Both Matthew and you went the distance in getting me prepped, and I hope a tone-deaf me didnt disappoint. Though I have no idea how my rendition went (well, I don't really want to know!) and its something which im definitely not looking forward in the video!
After 4 weddings, seems like both Sarina and I are out of weddings, with your involvement, to attend.
We thank you guys for serenading us all this while, as your performances have always been a great feature to look forward to in our weddings.
Hopefully we get to catch up on similar occasions. Meantime, keep the music and singing going!
