Jeremy and Mandy, 30 Nov 08, Grand Salon, The Sentosa Resort & Spa

The wedding of Jeremy and Mandy was a fairy tale like affair held at the Sentosa Resort & Spa.

The solemnisation ceremony was held at the courtyard in front of the main ballroom, a secluded spot surrounded by lush greenery, with hints of the tranquil seaview in sight. Cream and pink rose petals lined the venue, making it all the more romantic. Witnessed by a packed ceremony of family and friends, Jeremy and Mandy exchanged moving vows I trust they had penned themselves. Shortly after, the wedding banquet started with grandeur. Two rows of sword bearers dressed immaculately in white uniforms lined the isle, ushering the entrance of the couple's family into the ballroom. Then came the glorious moment when Jeremy and Mandy walked down the isle to the song "I Wanna Grow Old With You", by Westlife.

From the vows to the grand march-in to their touching vows, I felt as though I was watching a fairy tale wedding...watching a prince marrying his little princess. Jeremy looked every bit the happy prince that night. He was always smiling, and had an infectious sense of humour that sent everyone laughing ourselves crazy during his speech, especially when he tried to convey his thanks in Cantonese to relatives from Hong Kong. Not forgetting funny moments in the video montage of the morning's events which showed the groom's entourage embracing "thick and thin" in order for Jeremy to get to his wife.

There were also moving moments during his speech where he turned to Mandy to pledge his love and their future…Gestures as such that make you feel extremely happy to be a part of this lovely moment in the couple's life.

There was a special item put up by the MGS girls (Mandy's friends ) specially for the couple. Accompanied by Feri on guitars, four pretty girls with angelic voices took the stage and serenaded the couple with a medley of songs and presented them with lovely balloons. As they sang, they displayed flash cards in coordinated actions, sending cheers and laughter around the room especially when they sang 月亮代表我的心 with English lyrics which were a direct translation from the Chinese lyrics of this classic oldie.

All in all, it was a night of fun, laughter, friendship and love. The beauty of this wedding was how elaborate it looked but how the couple kept it cosy and relaxed altogether. I felt the significance of the grandeur Jeremy and Mandy presented at their wedding to celebrate their love and union, and I also felt the sincerity from the couple for just wanting to spend their special day with family and close friends and wanting everyone to have a good time.

Our best wishes to Jeremy and Mandy. Thank you for engaging A Little Dream. It was a pleasure to be a part of your special day. Thank you both for dropping by the band a few times to say "hi" and to take photos with us, despite your hectic schedule for the evening. Last but not least, many thanks for your kind hospitality which you had extended to us, and finally we thank the many in the audience who enjoyed the band's presence.
