No you're not. There are weddings on every day of the week; it all depends on the cosmic alignments of stars and auspicious dates I suppose.
One of my couples got married on a Monday because that's the one day of the week when the groom's colleagues are not working!
BTW, how did you chose your wedding date? Was it because it's one day before your parents' 28th wedding anniversary? Can we invite them onstage and sing a song for them too? It's known as 双喜临门 (double happiness)!
Well, we can sing a song for them right after the toasting ceremony, while they're still onstage. How about it? Think it'll be a nice surprise for them. Do they have a favourite song?
