Emilyn and Boh, 7 Oct 06, Furama City Centre
Hsin Yeow's thoughts: Woh-woh-ye-ye!
Everyone and their uncle was getting married on 7 Oct, or so it seemed. Our band had to be divided into two groups, led by Bevlyn and me respectively, in order to perform at three weddings on that day alone. We also had to decline several requests which came too late.
First wedding of the day was held in the afternoon at Furama City Centre, which is located in the heart of Chinatown.
I was really excited to perform for Emilyn and Boh, because I was anxious to meet the bride after having corresponded with her for over four months. She was such an easy person to talk to that we became fast friends.
When I finally met her, she was every bit the way I imagined her: pleasant and sweet. Boh, with a cheery smile and twinkle in his eye, was a perfect complement to her. All the best to the both of you!

I loved singing 爱你在心口难开 (Love You More Than I Can Say) and 我是真的付出我的爱 (I'm Really Giving You My Love).
The former was specially chosen for the older folks in the audience, and I thought I could hear a few of them singing "Woh-woh-ye-ye!" with me!
The latter propelled Wakin Chau to fame. Even though the song was released almost two decades ago, the heartfelt lyrics and melody still resonate.

Tho both of us were not able to sit down to really enjoy your performance. We were glad that our friends and relatives enjoyed your singing. When you sang Resting Place For My Love, a lot of our friends were telling us that they were singing along with you.
It's really fun having a live band during the wedding, I will definitely recommend our friends to you for any future events.
