Hsin Yeow's thoughts: Close To You
For hours after Willy and Denise's wedding, I couldn't stop smiling.
There were so many reasons why the wedding celebration left a lingering sweetness like a strong perfume; here are just some of them:
- Created a romantic mood for the march-in with Close To You, a song which Denise loves
- Performed with excellent musicians like Sebastian and Jonathan Lim
- Persuaded Willy to profess how much he loved Denise and got him to kiss her passionately. I swear that the temperature rose by a few notches with the heat generated by that kiss!
- Got Willy to sing a few lines of two songs, even though he was initially dead against the idea. Willy's spontaneous act paid off big time. When Willy crooned 月亮代表我的心 (The Moon Represents My Heart) to Denise, she was so moved that tears streamed down her cheeks.

Let me end off with some words from Willy, who was describing a significant moment when he felt that he had gained Denise's trust:
"Once, I remember driving with Denise by my side until she dozed off. I didn't dare wake her up. When she finally did, she said that she had never slept in another person's car before. I was happy because it showed that she felt comfortable enough to fall asleep."
