Hui Bing's thoughts: When You Tell Me That You Love Me

I met Caroline when she came down to support us at one of our regular performances. Although I only communicated with her via SMS and email previously, it feels that we have known each other for a long time as we chatted like old friends over music and wedding preparations. It also helps that she is a friend of my sister, who was her 姊妹 (bridesmaid) on the wedding day.

We are short of one song for our performance, and Caroline kindly said that I could select any Mandarin song which I liked. I took the opportunity to propose the classic <<月亮代表我的心>> (The Moon Represents My Heart) as a special dedication from her and Jason to their parents for all their love and support throughout these years.

Though I have sung this song many times, I never got tired or sick of it as the response and acknowledgement I get from guests, particularly the elderly ones, are especially gratifying. And indeed, I could see Caroline and Jason's family members' faces beaming back at us as we performed this song.

Caroline and Jason, congratulations! Wishing you all the best as you start your lives together in this new year ahead.

Compliments from Caroline:

Hi Hui Bing,

It's definitely our pleasure to have you at our wedding. A pity we didn't really had the opportunity to appreciate your melodious voice with all the running around but I'm sure our guests enjoyed themselves.

Thanks once again for being there

Wedding Tip:

Dedicate a song to your parents!
