Does this place always get new people in streams like a few times a month? It seems like there's some kind of equilibrium too, like, people leave and people come in. Have there ever been long stretches of population boom or a bunch more people leaving than arriving ( Read more... )

at least it's not mojoverse, x-mas, twenty questions, to be honest i don't do a damn thing, substandard sap, navel-gazing, where my peeps at, oh my god rictor what, rooty tooty fresh & fruity, epic adventure (to the grocery store), always on the job

I think it usually stays about 100,000 residents.

Hello, Rictor.

Yeah, I suppose you would be able to calculate that number, Stark.

Hola.

Yes, I know counting can be tricky for some, but thankfully I'm a genius.

Adjusting well to life in the City?

How's that genius thing working out for you, by the way? I've been a little busy in town to watch the news.

The genius thing is working out great. I've started a company to help develop various technologies and give the science minded of the City a place to work on their projects.

'Science-minded,' he says.

FYI, I promise to stay out of trouble. Not like I could get into much right now.

Yes, engineers, doctors, physicists, mechanics, people like that.

That's good to hear.

Why couldn't you just say engineers, doctors, physicists, mechanics &c.

How long have you been here? Anyone else? Avengers? FF? Spider-man? Come to think of it, I never asked Gambit.

Because what I said was more all inclusive and shorter.

I've been here since May. Spider-Man was here for a bit. Rogue was here for a short time and Deadpool was here for a bit too. A Johnny Storm is here but he's not the one from our universe. Or at least the universe I'm from.

Yeah, but it wasn't very descriptive and left too much room for weird interpretation.

Uch, Johnny Storm.

Uch, Deadpool.

Can I get my ticket on the train that goes the hell out of here now.

I'll remember to use simpler phrases next time.

Right after me. I keep hoping Reed will show up, but no luck.

Oh, and Logan is here, furry little ball of joy that he is.

More practical. Simple got nothing to do with it, hombre.

Reed Richards owes science an apology.

I met Wolverine, yeah. First time ever, I feel a little honored and a little out of the loop and a little like I might pee myself.

Yes, making a long list when one word will substitute is much more practical.

You sound like a 90 year old man.
