Click to viewI blame my mother for this. She had a HUGE crush on Richard Chamberlain and that passed to me and we were both gutted when he came out as gay. Anyway, you can't get better than an inter-generational Australian epic about God, love, redemption, family, lust and forgiveness. Did I mention hot priests? Every year I have a Thorn Birds weekend and just cry constantly. I love it.
State of Play
What a cast. Average thriller story made better by wonderful cast and fantastic acting.
House of Cards
"I want to call you Daddy." This mini-series is all about the seduction of power and the power of seduction, with a little politics and murder thrown in. Utterly wonderful with the late, great Ian Richardson.
