This. This is win and what I've been trying to explain to people for ages. It's one of the things that really gets on my wick, and just another way that society belittles women and what we are interested in. Just because they don't have much directly to do with money, areas of love, family and children are often termed 'women's issues' and dismissed, and it comes out in literature where I do believe the sexes are pretty damn equal in talent.
Sometimes I get so angry with this male-dominated society I want to run rampage, screaming and bleeding on the front seats of bankers' and politicians' BMWs and Mercs, and asking them exactly how a tampon is a fucking luxury item and subject to VAT, you ASSWIPES.
...I think I had a little more rage in me than I thought. And it's not even my time of the month, whoda thunk it? Of course, such fury is laughable and unnattractive in a woman....
