I just met:
A brilliant, approachable, and insightful NPR reporter
A former ambassador to South Africa (AND NPR president AND Peace Corps Associate Director and Country Director for Uganda and Nigeria AND the list goes on)
A culinary genius and public radio diva
I'm just realizing how awesome (in the traditional sense of inspiring some awe, not the more popular "dude, radical" usage) my weekend was. And I'm realizing that not many other people share that initial impression, but that doesn't diminish the awe I'm experiencing.
