ita is a lot of work this semester. and i no longer speak italian. not that i ever did, really... I can say "mi piace ___" and "ho bisogno di ___," but that's about where it ends.
my mom did get me a "phrase a day" italian calendar for christmas, so I also know how to say "una tavola per due, per favore" ("a table for two, please") and "mi piacerebbe il sale ed il pepe, prego?" ("would you please pass the salt and pepper?" apparently, although my own initial interpretation was "the salt and pepper would please me, you're welcome?")
need money (ho bisogno di soldi). need job (ho bisogno di lavoro).
