Sleepy Hollow Episode 3 Thoughts
I'm going to try to keep these spoiler-free, but if it will totally ruin your life to know ANYTHING about the episode before you actually watch it, including my random thoughts and observations......
Why are you here in the first place?
Anyway, that was your last turn-back opportunity, so here we go.
1. Jenny is so freaking hardcore. I mean, I started thinking that last episode but now....damn. Lyndie Greenwood is phenomenal, and I know that I know her from somewhere else, but I can't figure out where, arrgh.
2. Now, I'm not that much of a shipper in the sense of engaging in shipping wars and all that, probably because I tend to like obscure ships. But. I am sooo behind Abbie/Ichabod, idek. They just have this amazing, powerful, respectful dynamic that's utterly wonderful. It isn't even about the sex--although that would be smoking hot. They really are partners in the truest sense.
3. Finally, a show that acknowledges Native American history and culture instead of just appropriating it....as much as one-off references to shamans, dream walking, and spirits can be considered acknowledgment vs. appropriation. But I will take what I can get.
4. This show is freaking me out. Ugh. I got the creepy-crawlies. Please don't give me nightmares.
