I'm a hopeless techno-geek.
To increase my productivity when I work at the beach or on the road, I bought a palm PDA and a wireless keyboard yesterday to replace pen and paper. It's a Palm Tungsten E. I'm hoping to use it to take notes and stuff at school, too, if I can withstand the teasing. I am a little embarrassed at how 'plugged in' I am, but at the same time..
THIS THING IS SO FRIGGIN' AWESOME!!!!!!!!!
I can edit word, excel, and powerpoint docs on the go, and sketch out quick ideas, and keep a running log, and finally stop losing phone numbers, and play MP3s, and have a quick-access photo album, and play little games, and colour-code my day planner, and have a to-do list with alarms, and maintain a database of pending jobs, or keep price lists of art supplies and tea because I buy them so much, and have a Japanese phrasebook, and oh there's so much that I can't even type it all here! I'm still wondering if I should buy that program for it that's like a mini-Photoshop.
I'm mainly stoked that I can now work at full speed at the beach. The indulgence of my anal, organize-crazy behaviour is just a bonus. Hooray!
