Hi all, it's been a while.
Since I've tossed alitak.com as we know and love it into the bin, I think I'll blog here. (No promises or guarantees that this'll be frequent or anything!) If I make a new page it will likely be blog-less, and I might as well make use of my membership here!
Anyway, as I mentioned at alitak.com, my life is going through a metamorphosis. I've found a new job/career that is absolutely kickass - freelance translating (well, yeah, I did that before, but my eyes were opened to the wide world of 'new clients'!). Good coin and lots of free time. So I'm not so bent on an animation job anymore.. although I know I want to work in production sometime, I'm not in a big hurry for the time being. I wanna save up for stuff!
I'm also engaged.
Ben proposed to me on Friday, July 30, while we were hanging out on the terrace watching the sun set.. It was the most ordinary situation which heightened the surprise/shock! The ring is very cute and sparkly, with diamonds inset into a white gold band. The wedding will not be until 2006 since we've got a lot on our plate for 2005, but I am still crazy-excited.
Add this to the move to North Van, graduating, and my newfound love for running races, and I just might be a different person.. Whoa.
