So I stumbled upon This Ebay Auction seller who is selling off all the original props from Stargate SG1 and Atlantis.

And then I found David Hewlett's twitter post where he was all, "Okay, here's the plan: We buy everything, put it all back together, and then we make the Stargate Atlantis movie

I was also heart broken when both Joe Flannigan and Jason Mamoa confirmed that SGA has no planned continuation of any sort. Still, i got to be in a stargate sandwhich consisting of Sheppard, Dex and Beckett last year so i'm happy to be just left with that.

I didn't know they weren't doing one! I mean SG1 GOT FOUR!!! FOURRRRR. Why the crap can't we get one measley continuation where Rodney and Shep finally get together and rescue Atlantis from earth and thus break ties with them forever because once an Atlantean, always an Atlantean.

THERE WASNT EVEN AN EPISODE WHERE THEY FOUND A BUCKETLOAD OF ZPMS!!!!

There's kinda an ep where they find the ZPMS. End of season five Todd has a few he brings along so they can fly the city to earth. Plus there's the ones they knew were on the replicator planet.
But year, i want more Atlantis! More Todd! More Ronon! More Sheppard!

So Sad, but there wasn't that moment in fanfics.

Y'know that moment where they have strived for so long, and then suddenly, Rodney and Shep find themselves in a cavern full of ZPMs, and both of them are in such awe, and then they realise that such power would mean the destruction of earth from its own greed, leading them to come to the natural conclusion of running away with Atlantis.

I want... that moment.

And fuck I hated Keller she ruined all that was good in SGA.

Keller was so naieve. She kept trying to change Rodney and refused to listen to Ronon and Teyla in 'the shrine' episode. She could at least have consented to giving people a chance to say a proper goodbye. Beckett was so much better.
I think i've read several fanfic with that moment in it. Though last night i read an epic fic on SGA big bang. There is some REALLY good fanfic there.

I have many reasons I don't like her, the main one is the simple fact that she's there just to be Rodney's OH ISNT LIFE BETTER NOW THAT YOU HAVE A WOMAN WHO ONLY BARELY TOLERATES YOU FOR BEING A NERD-REWARD.

While John, GETS NOTHING. He gets his team split apart, his city taken away from him by the government, Rodney's off marrying a skank, and he will probably be stuck doing a hideously boring job either behind a desk or doing milk runs because clearly his cases of insubordination have stacked up against him.

The second last episode was also a foreshadowing of John being driven to suicide.

And by the end I'm like, wait, THIS is my happy ending?

When the fact remains it isn't. Not for the people and the characters we've come to know and love. It feels like a stifling hell, and I hate the fact that SGA is going out like that.

I'm a big Sheppard/Mckay and Sheppard/Dex shipper, so i was really let down by the ending too. I mean, both Rodney and Ronon are suddenly paired off with girls which felt WAY too fast and would feel that way even IF Keller didn't suck. Poor John's got no one. he needs the loving too.

That's why i've turned to fanfiction for comfort. So many quality writers for this fandom for once.

Oh yeah, i'm still dabbling with that Haku/Howl slash fic. It's coming along slowly, and won't be very long, but it will be pretty slash i hope.
