Look, my arguments are just going to end with, "But Hugh Jackman." From now on. Because that's a declarative ending statement. Especially for everyone who might even attempt to say bad things about Wolverine. Hugh Jackman.

I Wrote Your Name Upon The Back Of My Hand by paperclipbitch, Wolverine, Post-Movie, Wolverine/Gambit, R. Post-Movie fics are always so satisfying.
Riposte by azurine, Comicverse (but standalone and you don't need to know anything beyond the two characters), Logan/Remy, R. My favourite fic for this pairing because it's sort of epic, yet quiet and heart warming and perfectly captures that intensely masculine, but overly charming connection they have together. I also just like to think of Logan in a suit and being completely smug about one-upping Remy in his playboy ways.
Sweat by azurine, X-men movieverse, Logan/Remy, PG-13. I remember this fic making me wish with all my heart the X-men movies had a Gambit. Now it's like a secret thrill of wish fulfillment.
Logan's Experiment by O. Comicverse, Logan/Remy, NC-17 (and HOW!). Probably the most lush and well known fic for this pairing because this is exactly the sort of heady, and super domineering Logan everyone has in their minds when you try to piece together the idea of Wolverine and sex. I love how far the author takes the scenario of 'Logan goes feral'. It's lyrical and sort of frightening with how intense it is. The one downside is that Remy's accent is super french. But read it mon ami, it's totally worth the mouse click.
AND Also some Star Trek because WHO AM I, to resist the gravitational pull of fandom towards it's founding keystones.
A Moment of Our Silence by keelywolfe, Post Movie, Kirk/Spock, NC-17, Spoilers galore. So read this after watching the movie. I promise eyebrow singeing.
The Night Before by shirasade, Post Movie, Kirk/Spock, PG, Spoiler!, Ambassador Spock is not the only one drawn to the Enterprise the night before she is set to leave.
Five Times Kirk Tried to Seduce Spock, and One Time He Succeeded by belmanoir, Kirk/Spock, PG, Kirk's so desperate he's even willing to learn how to do that thing with his hands. I found this sweet.
Just Lie Back and Think of the Federation, Kirk/Spock, NC-17, Combining the original fandom with the original slash pairing with the original story trope of Aliens Made Them Do It must be causing explosions somewhere. Possibly in my brain.
Through the Glass Darkly, Kirk/Spock, PG, Jim Kirk got a lot more from that mind meld than he ever bargained for. My opinion on this is that Mind Melds? Are Awesome.
We Learn Each Other Slowly by raphaela667, Kirk/Spock, R, THIS. If there was ever a fic that managed to convey the problems of misunderstanding, and sheer fortitude Kirk possesses in choosing, and the deep love that runs like a undercurrent throughout their relationship, it's this one. I love it even more that it's established, and that both of them are trying SO HARD. Makes me want to hug something. I love this fic.
