GUESS WHAT I DID TODAY?

I went to my local library Book Sale!

YESSS.

16 books!
Including classics like:
David Copperfield and HP lovecraft;
Trashy, trashy fiction books such as:
Star Wars The New Rebellion;
Jude Deveraux's brand of sappy but entertaining, yet strangely incestuous harlequinn romance;
2 Chuck Palahnuik books in surprisingly excellent condition;
James Patterson's easy to read crime fiction;
AND Nerdy ancient history books GALORE, one photography book, and the three non covered books are about vanished civilisations, dictatorships and the Elizabethan age respectively.

And all of it? For a GRAND TOTAL OF $5. That's right, FIVE DOLLARS.

I am STILL grinning in GLEE. Of course I have no place to put them. BUT FIVE DOLLARS. :DDDDD

Random tidbits from around:

This is how Hotels clean your drinking glasses in rooms. Wow this makes me glad I'm so asian I always do that rinse out/boil-wash my glassware where ever I go.

During High School my friends all made the Happy Spider Club joke, (for the Aussie's it abbreviates into HSC, ha ha ), but I've stumbled upon something! THE HAPPY SPIDER EXISTS. The first bug in my life that made me smile.

And stuff that really should be posted to tekken_gamers but I cannot be bothered to make another post so...

You know what's ALMOST as good as Reno working at maccas? Jin Kazama working at KFC

And you know what's cooler than even that in my hierarchy of things I never knew I wanted until someone has granted my heart's fondest desire? A Tekken board game. Because you know, when you don't have a ps2 on hand, you can STILL get your geeky interactive fix.

How else can you waste hours of Tekken related fun? By playing dress up games!

I've had a fun day.
