caladan_dd is an artist of such wondrous talent, that looking at her work makes me want to drawl into a room and die because it's like looking upon the face of awesome, and nothing will ever compare, ever again. She does HP fanart that takes my breath away, but recently, she's also been pressured (by some kind of CRAZILY POWERFUL DEITY) to do Bleach fanart. LOOK UPON THE FACE OF TALENT. The amount of detail that pervades all her work continues awe me.

The FanLib issue has blown up so big even I can't avoid it. Basically, it is a site that has been inviting authors from LJ over to their site so they can profit from their content with ad revenue and take advantage of the hits they get on their stories. Without compensation to the authors. Without protecting the authors. They ask for author details like real name and address as well as stating in their TOS that in case of copyright infringement, only the authors are liable. icarusancalion has a Better summary of events of this mad, mad venture. Most of us on LJ don't need to legitimise our fanworks, nor are we desperate for a place to archive our stuff, and I certainly won't play along and join the herd. We're not interested. Plz GTFO.
Seriously, if they continue, they should start backing up their servers, because they're going to be hacked within the WEEK.
In other news: I've been watching the Korean drama FULL HOUSE, the one with Rain in it, not Super Junior, and I have to say never have I wasted my time like I did watching this drama. I don't understand how people can fall in love with Rain due to THIS drama. It's terrible. His shirts are ugly as fuck.The leading female character is so stupid I want to bash her brains in to end her misery. The comedy side characters have me advocating not only abortion at my screen but also scream irrationally whenever they're doing ANYTHING. The attitude in this drama is also the most sexist thing I have seen IN MY LIFE. It's based around a romantic comedy scenario where a woman is FORCED into a contract marriage and then the man falls in love with her because he gets her to cook and clean EVERYDAY, EVERY MOMENT, at command. Blarrrgh. Cathy, you have no taste.
