PS3 it's time we had a talk
My faith is being SHAKEN people, and it frightens me.
I'm a playstation fan through and through. And FURTHER, because I am incapable of playing any game other than Tekken, I buy it, for the ONE GAME, pretty much. I was set on buying PS3, I was, because I an D-E-D-I-C-A-T-E-D, but then they announced that THEY WILL NOT BE RELEASING TEKKEN 6 anytime soon, and only has Dark Resurrection to offer me. That breaks my heart. I have NO USE for blu-ray, wireless controllers or 20GB of memory because:
1) When I want to BUY dvds, I want to WATCH them not have a ton of bullshit come flying at me from the screen and interrupt my viewing experience with lame interactivity.
2) I do not have an awesome flat screen, LCD, huge-ass TV I CAN enjoy high quality TV on, mine is large, but more often than not, even when it's on, I am staring at my computer while it flickers on behind me.
3) Wireless controllers. As I play ONE GAME, I already the most hard core, Arcade stick, Tekken emblazoned controller in the entire world. Using this is the only way I cna show off in the gaming arcades. $80 for new controllers, that have NO ACTUAL influence on my game of choice seems a little redundant. Also, whatever happened to that awesome boomerang looking PS3 controller they proposed? The ones they DO have are exactly the same as the ones I have now, meaning they're easily breakable, hard to mash, and eventually will be completely impossible to recharge. I say this, because one of my controllers has kind of broken from excess mashing and I am infinitely bitter.
4) I haven't even filled my 8MB memory card. WTF am I going to do with 20GB of game play?!I BLOW HARD at any RPGs. You have not seen someone SUCK until you've seen me try and attempt it. There is a lot of flailing and WHAT DO I DO NOW coupled with avoiding enemies as inevitably I die before I can acquire the experience points. But seeing as there IS NO GAMES for me to even try this in the PS3 line up, this is a moot point.
5) IT. IS. TOO. EXPENSIVE. USAn's at least only pay $600-$800 for that console. GAMERS IN AUSTRALIA? Have to fork out $1000!!! ONE GRAND FOR ONE GAME. I can't justify that AT ALL. I MIGHT AS WELL TAKE MY ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS AND GO TO JAPAN. That is INEXCUSABLE.

white_aster also makes a Good point about the lack of TANGIBLE awesome to back up claims and the fact PS3 has forgotten it's a console for GAMING rather than interactive dvd play.
Sony says they'll pay $1200 for any PS3 still in stock. Meanwhile you can make SIGNS out of left over sales. And I can't find a Wii anywhere. I wonder what will happen once PS3 is out in Australia?

In conclusion, PS3 you expensive hooker, I am not interested and you will have to take your diseased, overpriced wares elsewhere.
