And speaking of bizarre AUs, I now have this mental image of what it'd be like to rewrite FF7 as this Southern Gothic thing set in the Appalachians or something, and there are hillbillies and such, and Vince doesn't have his pretty flashy pistol/rifle/etc, he's got a hall-cleaner. OMG, I would love to see somebody hand Vince a sawn-off shotgun, OMguh.
