I am finally CAUGHT UP!
Finally cuaght up with One Piece Manga due to super delicious broadband (I've also been staring at many manymanymany videos of Gackt but that's neither here or there).
I can finally say YES. A MILLION TIMES YES. I love you Oda-sensei. So much. Toriyama-sensei, eat your heart out. Onepiece love is pure, and true.
415's cover spread of Zoro, Sanji and Luffy? Nearly swallowed my tongue. My boys NEED no shirts. I love that in the popularity contest that all the Straw Hats won, as they should. There is no, OMG THE ENEMY IS SO MYSTERIOUS AND SEXY SO I MUST FALL IN LOVE WITH THEM. In Onepiece, we love the main characters, as we should. They are hearty and wholesome and just, lovely individuals you wouldn't hesitate to make friends with in real life, unlike Naruto where I would rather swat him and Team 7 in the head rather than make happy with them, or DBZ (as much as I love that show) where the characters never have as much fun as they should, or take themselves less than seriously. Oda-sensei makes us damned well CARE for the main characters, so we can laugh and cry with them, feel scared or elated, and THAT is why One piece is the greatest manga ever. Oh. Sanji. Eyebrow still in possession of soul? Check.
Also Zoro's brain breakingly sexy look on the last page of 412 make this the greatest manga ever. But I'm sure ovaries all over the world agree.
Hope I didn't spoil anyone, I was months behind so I assumed I'm pretty safe... especially since all my flist has been crowing about new chapters as soon as they come out. If I've absolutely *ruined* it for anyone. Sorry. Zoro's look on 412 will still make your loins explode. Guaranteed.
