Why: Because Sengoku has stolen my heart. For other POT newbies like me, he's the redhead who gets hit in the face. I am weak for hot dorks... especially hot dorks with red hair. I also enjoyed the insight into his 'luck' which provided me a nice perspective when I rewatched the episodes with him and Momo. I love fics that build up on canon character traits.

Why: Rodney contructs a VR and reality and virtual reality blur together. Of course there is sex. Then some angst, but then more sex. If it was written by anyone else it would have been skimming the line of cliche, however this hits all the right notes of guh. It's a sex scene that's instantly become a favourite for me.

Rating: R? I wouldn't say it's GEN, but despite the bits that make it slashy, it has the qualities of one of those character fics that makes SENSE when you read them.
Why: This is the footnote fic to end all footnote fics (that is, if you don't count Good Omens and all affliated fanworks), and I love the perspective it gives on John's life through such seemingly insignificant but moving snapshots. I also adore how the footnotes make the experience more real, they're the insight into John's mind while the text moves on without him in a brilliant by play of external and internal textual dialouge and pacing.
