I've toyed with the idea of training for a marathon. I'm still thinking about it, but is it really something you can toy with pursuing? Maybe after I start training, I'll gain momentum and enthusiasm. The thing is, I'm not sure if I have enough time for such a commitment. I am already worried about this semester academically. I've been wanting to go out more, which inevitably puts a strain on my ability to do school work.

I saw a cat frozen in place yesterday. Will and I were stopped at a light and suddenly he asked, "Is that a cat?!" I looked over, and sure enough, there was a cat with its paws stuck in a pile of snow. It was frozen in place, and even its tail was extended in a normal position. When we drove back, it was still in the same place.

It was Alison's birthday on Friday, and a really good day in general. Six of us went out for sushi in New Paltz then came back and had a party in my room. There was some spilled beer, but luckily my drunken state alleviated my compulsiveness. I threw up a lot Saturday morning (I only had 4 shots... my tolerance is pathetic), and spent the weekend recovering.
