Fanmix: John Crichton - Read My Mind
This is my first fanmix, and I can't tell you how many incarnations the track list when through to get to this mix. Honestly, I never thought I'd actually post this, but it was a labor of love. John Crichton is one of my favorite fictional characters, and I could write a manifesto here about why he and Farscape are so damn much fun to watch while being brilliantly complex, painfully heartbreaking and scifi at its best. Don't worry, I won't. Just know that I adore him.
I feel like I could have easily made a mix for Crichton solely from Killers songs. They fit the optimism that I believe Crichton never loses in the course of the series, no matter what horrible things have happened to him. An emotionally evocative hook thrown into mostly upbeat music just says Crichton to me.
