Bird Song - Florence + the Machine
I saw this glorious human being in concert last year, and this is one of my favorite little odd songs that she does. Florence is always at her best when she gets to belt it out a bit. :)
Bye Bye Love - The Cars
I love so much about the things The Cars chooses to be. LOVE. And this has always been my absolute favorite. I think it must be the clash of lyrics to tone that always fascinated me, because it's a rather upbeat song but they are saying goodbye to love. According to a recent personality test I took, I am attracted to sadness, so "it's just a broken lullaby" is particularly beautiful to me.
Blindness - Metric
I heard this song thanks to the spectacular Fringe/Olivia Dunham fanmix Recursion. I think I had this on repeat in my car for like two weeks.
Bowling Green - Neko Case
I had to include this song for mostly sentimental reasons. I'm from Kentucky and actually lived in the crazy little town of Bowling Green for a few years, so when I fell in love with Neko Case last year, I had a squee fit when I heard this song.
Baltar's Dream [from BSG season 2 soundtrack] - Bear McCreary
BATTLESTAR GALACTICA! You guys remember when Baltar had that dream at the beginning of season two when he was on Kobol where Papa totally drowned that baby? That was messed up. What was up with all the baby killing on that show? No, seriously, I miss this show so much, but thankfully I have every single soundtrack and listen to them regularly. Bear McCreary is a genius.

Bailamos - Enrique Iglesias
OMG y'all! 1999! This is from my shame folder of music which also includes Savage Garden and Roxette. Yes, I own Enrique's greatest hits and listen more than is strictly healthy. Dear Jesus, this video is shameful! Don't judge me, I fell in love with this shit when I was young and impressionable and in freaking high school. I get a pass for that, yeah? I will understand if your opinion of me has changed. :)
