The Temple Bar

It is 11 am in Dublin and I had a truly wonderful week traisping about in Ireland. Galway was so comfortable and beautiful - a city village on the sea with the fastest damned river running all along it - and Dublin seems really small and also really immense with imposing, mismatched architecture and neat little neighborhoods marked off by the canal and old statues and new statues. The company was good, as it tends to be, but has since gone, leaving me with six and a half hours to kill before I get on a plane for my second to last international flight of the year.

I've managed to not think about how I'm leaving these places for a while, but that proved very difficult last night - the last night of the last of my European adventures this year here in the land of lots of Guinness. I feel like I spent nine months developing over here, and now I am to be thrust into reality agian, which I would be okay with if being here didn't feel so real to me already.

I'm excited to be coming home, so don't anyone out there feel put out by my mourning. It's just hard having more than one home, is all.

L minus 4 days.
