we made it.. after a drunken preacher and my new phone for europe not working at first.. the ferry was good - a mini cruise ship. the parisian garbage men are on strike for the 3rd or 4th day, plenty of trash on the streets, but its not too bad just yet.
we're staying with friends from carolina - gary & rachel who are studying here in paris. gary's friend, jeff is also visiting... another gamecock studying in spain. good times
so we're here, no problems, plenty of nervousness just not knowing how to do crap and the such. two nights & days here and we're off to barcelona!

we're not going to make it to notre dame - they walked by today and there was a line half a mile long just to get in on a saturday when theres never a line... so we wont make service but maybe we'll go by it - which means i can still say i went to notre dame for easter. ha!
