Very nice! I'm considering getting a tattoo on my upper back in that same area only on both sides and much smaller, because I'm such a wuss for pain.. :) How was the pain, might I ask?

=] it really didn't hurt as much as i thought it would. i'm a wuss when it comes to pain too. i nearly cried when i got my blood taken! but i really wanted it, so i went through with it,but was nervous as all hell beforehand. at first it hurt the most, but only because it was shocking--like, you'd never felt anything like it before. but your skin gets kind of....not numb, but used to it after a few minutes. i can tell you, it takes a while. and if you get it in color, they take about a five minute break when they're done outlining it before they start shading. i think the outlining and the shading hurt about the same, but i've heard people say different. i guess it's really different for everyone. during the shading, the needle will be on your skin for a more lengthy period of time at once--like, i mean, it will stay shading your skin on one area longer than the needle would outline one area at a time. it also depends where the needle is on how much it hurts, obviously. sometimes i could barely feel it. sometimes it didn't really hurt ( ... )
