(no subject)
Still no redundancy announcement. This is stupid - especially as the person who's unfortunately likely to be chosen doesn't work on Fridays and therefore the whole thing is going to end up going into another week.
The outside of my house is in the process of being painted now that it's finally stopped raining for a few days! I really wish I was not so useless at DIY and did not have to pay people to do these things for me ...
I have received a letter from one of npower's "correspondence advisors" (who would be well advised to take a course in the correct usage of the apostrophe and the comma: I feel like sending the letter back to her with corrections on it) saying that she's sorry that I feel let down by their "customer service" and understands my "dissatisfaction" and hopes that this (what???) "resolves matters" for me. It doesn't, but then I never expected to get a proper answer, and at least writing the original letter made me feel better!
